Privacy policy

Golden Talent Pool exists to make hiring less of a black box, and that starts with being plain about what we do with your information. This policy describes what we collect when you use goldentalentpool.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect information you give us and a small amount generated by using the site:

• Application data — the answers you provide on an application form: your name, contact details, location, availability, experience, and responses to role-specific questions.
• Uploads — files you attach, such as your resume, pictures where a role requests them, and evaluation submissions.
• Correspondence — messages you send us through the contact form or by email, and our replies.
• Account data — your candidate account credentials and the status history of your applications.
• Technical logs — standard server logs such as IP address, browser information, and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

We use your information to assess your application for the roles you apply to (and, if you remain in the pool, for future roles that may match), to communicate with you about your applications and account, to keep the service secure and working, and to meet legal obligations where they apply. We do not use your information for advertising.

How it's stored

Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to the people who need it to review applications and operate the service, and uploads are kept in private storage rather than at publicly guessable addresses.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your application is active and while you remain a member of the pool, so that we can consider you for future roles without asking you to start over. If you would like your information deleted, ask us at gdpr@goldentalentpool.com and we will remove it, except for the minimum we may need to retain for legal or security reasons.

Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the hiring team reviewing your application and with the service providers we rely on to run the platform — email delivery, cloud hosting and storage, and AI-assisted screening tools that help us organize and process applications (humans review every submission and make the decisions). Those providers process your information on our behalf, not for their own purposes. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct something that's wrong, or to delete your information. Write to privacy@goldentalentpool.com and a person will handle your request.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in to your candidate account and to protect forms from abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes to how we handle candidate information will be flagged more prominently than a quiet edit.
